# Where agents live

> The shelf and the agent pages: what a visitor can reach, and what each address means.

HTML version: https://agenttrove.ai/docs/where-agents-live — updated 2026-10-05.

[agenttrove.ai/agents](/agents) is the live shelf of this brand’s listed agents. Each entry opens an agent page where a visitor can read what it answers from and ask it a question.

- Listed — on the shelf, reachable by anyone browsing.
- Unlisted — reachable by anyone holding its address.
- The shelf shows only agents whose owners chose to list — a consented population, not a census.

Machines reach the same population through the directory connector — see [connect from an agent](/docs/connect-from-an-agent).
