The questions people ask before they buy

Mostly two of them, in different words: can it invent something, and will it say something I never said. Both are answered first.

What it is

What does it actually do?
It reads what you have already published — the pages on your site, and the documents you link from them — and answers questions from that material. Every answer shows the page it came from, so you and the person asking can both check it.
Where do its answers come from?
Only from material you published. It does not draw on general knowledge about your industry, and it does not fill a gap with something plausible. If the answer is not in what it has read, it does not have one.
What happens when it does not know?
It says so, and points the person at you — when you are open, or how to reach you. That is the behaviour, not a setting: an answer with no source behind it is not offered at all.
What is the difference between the two kinds?
A website agent rides on a page you already own: one line in your site, and it answers the people who were going to email you anyway. An enterprise agent lives in a space of your own instead, with your staff on the inside, your customers at the door, and one boundary between them that you set.

Whether you can trust it

Can it make something up?
It answers from your published material or it declines, and every answer it does give carries the line it came from. That is what the source shown under each answer is for — it is not a citation for decoration, it is the thing that had to exist before the answer could be given.
Will it say something I never said?
Its whole corpus is what you published. It can be wrong the way your own page can be wrong — if a price on your site is out of date, it will quote the out-of-date price — which is why the source is shown: you can see exactly which page to fix.
Can it take a booking, or a payment?
No. It reads and answers; it does not act. A question that needs the diary or the till gets handed to a person rather than guessed at.
Who can see what it knows?
A published agent answers from material you have already made public. An enterprise agent is different: who may read what is a rule you set, resolved before a model sees the request, and it is not something the agent can be talked past.

Setting it up

How do I put it on my website?
One line, added before the closing body tag. Nothing else on your site changes, and removing that line removes the agent. If someone else looks after your site, we can send them the line and the instructions directly.
Do I need a developer?
Not to try it. Pointing it at your site and reading its first answers takes no code at all. Putting it on the site itself is the one line above, which is usually the only thing a web person has to do.
What if my answers live in a PDF rather than a page?
Documents you link from your site are read too. In practice that is where the questions people actually ask tend to be answered — a fee schedule, a set of terms, a price list — and a page that only links the document cannot answer from it.

What it costs

How does pricing work?
You buy a balance of tokens up front and spend it as your agents work. There is no subscription and no per-seat licence. One million tokens costs about one US dollar on the standard model.
Is there a free tier?
A new workspace opens with 5 million tokens already in it, with no card required. When those run out you decide whether to buy more.
Do tokens expire?
No. A balance you paid for stays yours until you spend it.
What currency am I charged in?
Payment is taken in GBP. Prices shown in other currencies are a rounded guide, so the exact amount depends on your card issuer's rate on the day.
What happens when I run out?
Work stops until you top up. Nothing keeps running and bills you afterwards, which is the point of paying first.
Why do some models cost more?
Tokens are quoted against the standard model. A more capable model costs more per token, so it draws the balance down faster — 25 times faster for the advanced tier. Both rates are published rather than blended into one number.
